How do I include pictures?

Members are currently permitted to link to pictures that are accessible to the internet. Members are free to upload pictures to our photo gallery. Otherwise you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.example.com/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor images stored behind authentication mechanisms, e.g. hotmail or yahoo mailboxes, password protected sites, etc. To display the image use the BBCode [img] tag.

If using the OFS Photo Gallery, you will need to perform the following steps in order to obtain the URL of the photo, to be used in the BBCode [img] tag.

For IE users
  1. Using your browser, open the desired photo from the OFS Photo Gallery.
  2. Right click on the photo, then choose the Properties menu option.
  3. Highlight the Address (URL) and copy (CTRL-c) it to your clipboard.
  4. Paste (CTRL-v) the address from the clipboard into the BBCode [img] tag.

For Mozilla users
  1. Using your browser, open the desired photo from the OFS Photo Gallery.
  2. Right click on the photo, then choose the Copy Image Location menu option.
  3. Paste (CTRL-v) the address from the clipboard into the BBCode [img] tag.
